Hey candle lover!
Our wood wicked candles are a great addition to our homes, offices, you name it; wood wicks offer a calming, subtle crackle similar to that of a fireplace on a smaller scale, this truly boosts a home's ambience and helps to set the mood.
With that being said - wood wicks can be tricky to light if you aren't used to them - so here are my best tips to get the most out of your candle:
🕯 Make sure you trim your wood wick to about 3-5mm - you don't need a wick trimmer for this (although they can be super helpful), a pair of scissors can do the trick - make sure you trim your wick before each burn and remove the burnt tips from the end of the wick once they have cooled
🕯 Light the wood wick across the wick, rather than just one end
🕯 Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, and ensure you let the melted wax pool around to the edge of the jar before extinguishing
🕯 Don't burn your candle all the way to the bottom of the jar - it's best to stop using your candle when there is only about 1cm of wax remaining in the candle
🕯 If you're wanting to reuse your candle jar, simply scoop the wax out and wash with warm soapy water
🕯 Most importantly - always make sure you have a spare Aurora candle ready in case your current one burns out so you can keep your space feeling, and smelling, luxurious
Happy Burning! ❤️
